Set of four (4) oriental or Asian themed ashtrays with caddy. Ashtrays measure approximately 3-1/2" ind diameter by 1-1/4" tall. The caddy is about 8" tall. The caddy has a little bit of pitting in the finish, but you have to look for it. The ashtrays show a very little bit of wear and use, but, once again, you have to look for it!

We could not find other examples of this set; however, Jeannette Glass made two others in different motif's that are the same style and size; thus, we are attributing these to Jeannette, likely from the 1950s or 1960s. Neat, kitchy mid century modern pieces!

cigars and cigarettes violently snubbed out in their faces over the years...It was a hard life for the best of them. Now they are either becoming a thing of the past or they are finding newer uses (check appropriate state laws.) They're survivors. There may be a couple of rough spots, but nothing that will hurt you to handle, or wash. They are useful conversation starters, and can be core decor. We assure you that if we're offering them to you, they are (of course) fabulous enough for us to even consider selling them.

They are, in many cases, older than we are – they have seen life and times. We do not repair or replace parts on any of the items we sell. They came to us in the condition they are now, and are sold as is. When we say an item is in “excellent vintage condition”, we mean just that – it is in excellent condition for its age. For our jewelry, we examine it with both a scanner and a dental lamp.
We are very particular about what we buy and sell, and describe things to the best of our ability, in a fair and accurate way. Please - closely review the photos and descriptions of the items you wish to purchase, and if you have questions about them, we will gladly answer them prior to your bidding/buying.

Our packing materials may be unsightly, albeit brilliantly effective. We try to reuse as much material as possible from our business.
